SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Christopher Durre (CIO) & Kieran Start (CTO)

Strong Room is a start-up company located in Melbourne, Australia. Founded by Max Mito, Kieran Start and Chris Durre in 2016, with the vision of creating quality applications for the medical industry with the assistance of facial recognition technologies. Active involvement in the design, development and testing of new products.
Developing new components and features to do with integration with third-party software and hardware.
Maintaining system to be up-to-date with third party updates.
Finding and fixing bugs within current and new products.
Assisting with documentation (design/testing/user manuals/technical documentation)
Creation and implementation of code in accordance with designs and specifications.
Be actively involved in communication through approved channels and stand-up meetings.
Work collaboratively with other developers to maintain a high level of application security and data integrity.
Other duties as required at the time.

Completed a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in either Computer Science, Software Engineering or other similar IT courses.

Portfolio or demonstrable skill in application development
Preferably one (1) year experience in designing and developing applications using object oriented programming using C++ on Windows.

Intermediate to advanced level of programming and design proficiency in OO C++
Knowledge of database design, security and interfacing (MySQL/SQL Server) - highly desirable
Intermediate knowledge of user-centric GUI development (C++) - highly desirable
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain flexibility and adaptability to change
A strong desire to expand your knowledge, and to work collaboratively with other team members to develop quality solutions.
Understanding of Git.

Desirable Skills:
Experience in Agile SCRUM development and its processes
Experience in various databases such as foxpros, SQL and database integration
Knowledge and interest in the medical industry
Cloud based technologies (AWS or Azure)
Experience developing in Unix environments
Knowledge of QT platform
Experience developing API’s
Experience of converting .xlsx/.xml files for data migrations.
